King's Academy

Mission:
Our mission is to equip young men to become kingdom builders, who live a life of honor, strength and service to God.

Scripture:
“I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one.” 1 John 2:14

Purpose & Objectives:
The Kings Academy exists to support the “kingdom building” vision of Strong Tower Apostolic Community Church, by preparing young men to live a life of honor, strength and service to God. Kings Academy is a 7-week course offered once a year. The curriculum is tailored to equip young men in their teens and twenties who aspire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and develop healthy disciplines for life. Young men who are interested in joining must register, sign a covenant, and pay a small registration fee of $10 to cover costs of materials. 

What distinguishes this ministry from other Christian education classes is the focus on brotherly accountability and fellowship. Also, King’s Academy moves each young man towards a finish line, a ceremony where they are spirituality “knighted” and commissioned by the Senior Pastor.   

Kings Academy bases itself on 1 John 2:14-17, which says, “…I have written to you, young men, Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, And you have overcome the wicked one. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”
